Kendra's Bio

Born and raised in Anchorage, AK, Kendra Guffey grew up fishing and hunting. She considers herself to be a skilled outdoorswoman. Travel is her passion and she has been all over the world, most recently returning from a trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal at 17,665 feet in October 2006. She was certified as a scuba diver in 1989 in 38 degree-waters in Alaska. She is now a dive master with a certification in shark diving from South Africa. In high school, Kendra was in theater, marching band, pep club, art club and French club. She put herself through college by working summers in the Aleutian Islands as a butcher in a fresh/frozen fish-packing plant. She received her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. In 1996, she was employed by Sony Pictures in the scuba department.

What makes (or doesn't make) Kendra captain material?

This woman can easily be Captain. She is a born leader. She knows more stuff about surviving off the land and how to manipulate those around her to suit her needs. She does not take gruff from people and has a strong nature. People would feel safe with her leading the ship. She is intelligent and physically can tough it out with those whom might think they are tougher.

Traits that will help Kendra succeed:

Her knowledge of Pirates since she has been in a Pirate guild for years. She is also a scuba diver so looking for lost treasure in the depths of the ocean would not be a problem for her. Her cut straight to the bones attitude since she is not afraid to tell it like it is to anyone. Plus her desire to win she hates to lose!!!

Traits that will hurt Kendra chance's:

Her mouth since I am sure she will bite a few heads off for their stupidity!!

Piece of advice you want to give Kendra:

She knows what to do so giving her advice is not really needed but I will tell her to think twice before she talks when she is about to bite their head off for their stupidity. Sometimes being quiet will give you more of an advantage. And most of all win!!!

The best strategy for Kendra:

Observe those around you use your smarts and flirt with those boys and pretend they are the stronger ones and then cut their throats to take their booty!!! As for the girls you just need to be one of them when needed but cut their throats while they sleep....LOL I know you love the pirates' life so have fun!
